Olive (Olea europaea) is a typical Mediterranean plant, although can also be found in other areas. The tree grows up to 10 meters. Common pelvic diameter is about 50 centimeters. Olive tree usually branches low above the ground.

Olive wood is very appreciated. It is used in the production of flooring, in some countries in carpentry, and sometimes for making many different items. Due to its strength and resilience olive has been a symbol of strength, loyalty and fidelity.

Olive parquet is very attractive. It has strong irregular stripes and its appearance sometimes reminds of marble.
